Role Overview
As our Contract FF&E Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with the design team to source, specify, and document furniture, finishes, fixtures, and equipment for a variety of projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative environment, has a sharp eye for detail, and loves curating cohesive designs that reflect the client’s vision and our studio’s bold approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and select FF&E for residential and commercial projects, ensuring a balance of aesthetics, functionality, and budget.

• Create detailed FF&E schedules, mood boards, and presentations for client approval.

• Research new products, vendors, and trends to bring fresh ideas to the team.

• Collaborate with the design team to align FF&E selections with project goals and timelines.

• Coordinate with vendors to obtain samples, quotes, and lead times.

• Assist with furniture layout planning and ensure specifications align with design intent.

• Manage FF&E documentation, including specs, pricing, and procurement tracking.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in interior design or FF&E-focused roles (residential and/or commercial).

• Strong knowledge of furniture, finishes, and fixtures, including vendor resources.

• Proficiency in design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite) and project management tools.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

• Passion for creative problem-solving and innovative design solutions.
