Privacy Policy

This policy covers damngoodinteriors.com, run by Damn Good Interiors, an interior design studio at 3001 Brighton Blvd, Suite 105, Denver, CO 80216. Questions about anything here go to hello@damngoodinteriors.com.
The short version: we collect what you type into our forms so we can answer you, and we count visits so we know which pages are worth keeping. We have never sold personal information and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
What you give us
We only receive personal information when you choose to send it.
- Contact form. Your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message. Used to reply to you.
- Guide download. Your name and email address, so we can send the guide and, if you confirm the subscription, occasional email from us. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
- Project questionnaire. If you book a call, the questionnaire that follows asks for your name, email, phone number, and details about the project — budget range, timeline, scope, and what you are trying to achieve. Used to prepare for the call and scope the work.
What we collect automatically
- Google Analytics — only if you accept cookies. It records pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you used. IP addresses are anonymised. It is configured with advertising features and ad personalisation switched off. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, it stores nothing and sets no cookies.
- Vercel Web Analytics — a page-view count that uses no cookies and builds no profile of you. Because it cannot identify anyone, it runs without asking.
- Your cookie choice itself is kept in your browser's local storage so we stop asking. It never leaves your device.
- Server logs. Our host records requests, including IP addresses, as part of running and securing the site.
Changing your mind about cookies
This clears your saved choice and brings the banner back, so you can decide again. It also switches analytics storage back off immediately.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, which works regardless of anything on this page.
Who else handles it
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. It reaches these companies only because they run parts of this site for us:
- Vercel — hosting and page-view analytics.
- Formspree — delivers the contact form and questionnaire to our inbox.
- MailerLite — the mailing list behind the guide.
- zcal — the booking calendar.
- Google — Analytics, if you accepted.
Booking a call sends your details to zcal under their privacy policy as well as ours. Beyond that, we disclose personal information only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and questionnaire responses are kept for three years after a project closes, or three years after the enquiry if it never became a project, and are then deleted. Mailing-list entries stay until you unsubscribe. Analytics data expires on Google's schedule. If you want yours gone sooner, ask — see below.
Your choices
Ask us at hello@damngoodinteriors.com for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion, and we will do it. You do not need to live anywhere in particular for this to apply — we would rather just honour the request than work out whether a given law obliges us to.
Colorado residents have specific rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of targeted advertising and sale. We do not conduct targeted advertising, sell personal data, or profile anyone, so there is nothing to opt out of — but the access, correction, and deletion rights are real, and the address above is how to use them.
Children
This site is for adults hiring an interior designer. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
